AUGUST 1 • 1-4PM This Pottery Workshop is suited best for those with a teensy bit of experience in drawing (though we're happy to teach beginners). Instructor is educated in teaching drawing in addition to ceramics so don’t be shy, we’ll help! And if you’re an expert we’re happy to leave you alone to paint whatever you like. Students will be provided a bisqueware plate and learn to layout, sketch, then paint in an illustrative watercolour style- their own heirloom plate in traditional cobalt blue or black. Then plates will be fired, clear glazed and fired again by the Sugarhouse staff. Students can pick up completed work after final kiln firings during our regular business hours. (Fridays & Saturdays 12-5), or if from out of town, we're happy to mail completed pieces for an additional fee.
