Parker Harlequin 80. Mint Condition. 1980.

The Parker Harlequin 80 was launced in 1980, hence the name, this first year pen is a very fine example. The pen is in first class condition throughout and may well be unused, although I have inked it for testing purposes, followed by a thorough clean. It bears a clear date code for the first quarter of 1980. This is the 'Grey Shield' version of the Harequin, the interlocking shield pattern is finely engraved and is still sharp and clear. The pen is fitted with the original slim Parker ink converter and a new cartridge is included so it is ready to write in either configuration, it delivers a smooth medium line. The Harlequin 80 was only made for a relatively short time and did not sell particularly well so is now in very short supply and highly collectable.
