Earth Tone Mug

Wheel thrown red stoneware clay mug decorated with refined clay slips called terra sigillata. I created these decorating slips from clay samples that I have foraged in different states over the years, or that were given to me by other potters. The clays used to decorate this cup come from Bayou Teche and St. Francisville, Louisiana. Holds 14 oz. Approximately 4" tall, 3" diameter
