Full grain leather is unaltered, meaning the top layer of the hide is not shaved off to eliminate aesthetic imperfections, so it retains all of its natural scrapes and marks. It also means full grain leather is stronger and more durable than all other leathers (top grain leather and genuine leather, for example). To top it off, this leather will burnish and beautify with use. All of our full grain leather guitar straps have their natural marks, scrapes and scars, which means they have loads of raw, rugged personality. Our leathers are chosen for their ability to fully distribute the weight of the guitar across the strap, for a more comfortable playing experience on those long gigs. Your guitar strap may feel a little stiff at first - that's just the thickness and strength of full grain leather. Like a new pair of high quality leather boots, you need to break it in.
