Predominantly grown on the West Bench Block, where deep sandy soils over granite provide exceptional structure and depth, this blend captures the power and elegance of the region's unique terroir. Vineyard Source: 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, Monarch Vineyard #2, Osoyoos & 43% Merlot, Monarch Vineyard #3, Oliver Winemaking: 52 months in oak (33% new American oak, 67% neutral oak) Nose: Mixed berry jam, sarsaparilla, vintage books Taste: Tobacco, plum pudding, black currant Vintage: 2021; an early bud break, record summer heat, and a long, dry autumn produced lower yields with exceptional concentration. Careful vineyard management and cool nights preserved freshness, resulting in a richly structured blend with depth, intensity, and balance.
