This gives trades the corrosion resistance of stainless steel together with consistent drilling performance in heavier steel sections. The TEK 5 drill point and fine thread are intended for fixing aluminium sheeting, panels, brackets, channels and other components into suitable steel sections within the stated drilling capacity. They may also suit comparable sheet-to-steel and component-to-steel applications where the fixing specification is appropriate.
