Purple Passion Asparagus Crowns
The very mild, sweet tasting spears of Purple Passion have a sugar content 20% higher than green asparagus and are a delight to eat. When cooked, they turn a brilliant green color. Purple Passion is adaptable and well suited for culture in all parts of the US. Will overwinter to zone 3. Asparagus crowns are predominantly male, 1 year old and ship in March or April. The crowns are inspected by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture and are free of Fusarium. Please order early for best availability. Available only within the contiguous US.
