Elm - Waney Edge Boards

Characterful kiln-dried elm waney edge boards sourced from a felled tree on the South Circular Road in London. Board A Stunning elm board featuring medium pip, burr and wavy grain patterns. This board has a few areas of ingrown bark and knots, along with some old woodworm holes confined to the bark. There are also some low spots which can be easily sanded out, plus natural shakes and splits that add to its character. With two waney edges and two workable faces, this board would make a lovely curved rustic shelf. Board B Attractive elm board with two waney edges and two working faces, showcasing beautiful shades of natural brown throughout. This board has similar character to Board A, including medium pip, burr, wavy grain, ingrown bark, knots, old woodworm holes confined to the bark, low spots, natural shakes and splits. It also features some light spalting, adding further visual appeal and making this waney edge elm board a fantastic choice for a rustic shelf. Thicknessed both sides as seen in images.
