Skill Level: Intermediate Class Date: Tuesday, August 18 - 6pm-9pm The Preview Pouch is a vinyl-front pouch that let's you peek before you reach! It features a zipper closure that keeps everything secure yet instantly accessible - store your favorite notions, threads, cosmetics, and more. Once you make one for yourself, you'll want to make many more! In this 2-week class, students will learn how to work with vinyl, install a zipper, and practice topstitching. This class is suitable for intermediate level students who have prior bag making experience. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently. Required Materials: (1) Project Kit: Preview Pouch - includes pattern, two coordinating fabrics, pre-cut vinyl, interfacing, zipper + zipper pull, and thread! Alternatively, if you do not wish to purchase a Project Kit, you will need: (1) Pattern: Preview Pouch by Studio M Squared 1/4 yard of main fabric 1/4 yard accent fabric 1/4 yard of Pellon SF101 (1) 6" x 10" piece of vinyl (1) 14" zipper (1) spool of coordinating thread Recommended Fabrics: We suggest using quilting cotton or canvas for the exterior of this bag.
