Mountain Laughter

About the Print Mountain Laughter is inspired by a backpacking trip with my twin sister around the Mount of the Holy Cross in 2019. We laughed a lot! We created a loop of our own with some exciting cross country travel, amazing ridges and big sky views and had not backpacked together since hiking the Continental Divide Trail in 2016. It was special! In the painting, I wanted to capture that kind of special energy and wonder you can find along shared adventures. The original painting is 43.5” X 34” painted with watercolor, gouache and ink on Arches paper The Canvas Tote It’s just a bag with handles you say? Not this tote. The Canvas Tote was born with purpose: to fit all the vegetables you could ever need from the farmers market, to carry the entire charcuterie board and a pack of sparkly water to the lake, to transport towels, bathing suits and sunscreen for the whole famm damily to the beach. All in impeccable style. Ok maybe it is just a bag with handles, but jeez it does a darn good job of it. The Canvas Series The Canvas Series is a Free Range collaboration with artists who live to get lost in the mountains.
