An ON/OFF ARCALOCK switch engages or disengages Area 419's spring-loaded locking pins, so the same clamp can index positively on an ARCALOCK rail or clamp conventionally on a plain rail.Atlas bipods leave the factory on a two-screw Picatinny mount, on an American Defense lever mount, or as an NC "No Clamp" body with no mount fitted. None of them is natively ARCA, so this is the clamp to buy if some of your rifles wear ARCA rails and others wear Picatinny and you want one bipod to serve them all.How It ComparesThis is the most versatile of the Area 419 clamps, and the heaviest.
