Swift Water Rescue Course – Advanced
This is delivered either as a full in-person course. The price includes all classroom, pool, and swift water sessions as well as the certification PDF after successful completion of the course. The course will be delivered by one of WASH International’s Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) or Authorized Instructors in your geographic area. Topics include: Leadership & incident command; communication systems; forces of water; hydrology; limitations for rescues; rope handling; aerial highline construction over water; behaviors of victims; local and state policies & protocols; anchor construction; safety checks; entry rescues; swim techniques; floating & swimming directionally; extrication techniques; search & rescue techniques; water & weather resources and guides; tethered vessel rescues; watercraft rescue navigation Please feel free to call us with questions and/or a request for additional information: 1-800-484-0419.
