German unstamped violoncello bow

This old, unstamped German violoncello bow has silver mounts, an elegantly carved head and a stick of well-selected, golden-brown pernambuco wood. It has been fully restored in our workshops, and despite its light weight, pulls a full, creamy sound, with bright overtones. The stick is strong, and articulates and bounces well, with a good balance in the hand. This bow would suit an advancing player wanting to avoid a heavier bow.
