Garmin OnBoard System

The Garmin OnBoard™ System provides wireless man-overboard (MOB) monitoring while allowing freedom of movement aboard your vessel. Integrating with a compatible Garmin chartplotter, the system supports up to eight wearable tags, each designated as captain or passenger. A captain MOB event automatically triggers engine cutoff, audible alarms and a chartplotter waypoint marking where the tag lost connection; a passenger MOB event activates alarms and marks a waypoint to support recovery. Tags can be worn on the wrist or attached with a carabiner or floating keychain, with battery life exceeding a season of typical use. The system includes the GOS™ 10 hub and one wireless MOB tag, with tag status and protection settings managed through the chartplotter.
