Full Description The Urbalive Bokashi Kit brings the advanced fermentation method used around the world into your home. Unlike conventional composting which can be slow, smelly and outdoor-only, Bokashi uses anaerobic fermentation — similar to making kimchi or kombucha — to transform waste quickly and cleanly. The design is made by Plastia/Urbalive and widely used for indoor kitchen composting: the composter is made from recycled materials and includes a drainage tap/drain valve so you can collect the “Bokashi tea” — a powerful liquid fertiliser. We make our LIVE Bokashi Bran right here on our Herefordshire farm: fermenting British wheat bran and molasses with beneficial microbes and drying it to stable form.
