Available in 4-channel and 8-channel versions, it combines a TCTempX data logger with a protective thermal enclosure to record thermocouple temperature data inside ovens and other extreme temperature environments. The ThermoVaultX is well suited for validating and optimizing powder coating cure ovens, wet coating cure ovens, batch ovens and conveyor ovens. Oven profiling helps users confirm process control, identify process issues and produce consistent product quality. High Temperature Thermal Protection The stainless steel thermal enclosure acts as a buffer to protect the logger during exposure to elevated temperatures. When properly sealed and used according to the specified exposure limits, the ThermoVaultX system can withstand ambient temperatures up to 350°C (662°F) for up to 25 minutes. Maximum exposure duration varies by oven temperature, with longer allowable times at lower temperatures. Multi-Channel Thermocouple Recording The ThermoVaultX Series is available with either 4 or 8 thermocouple channels, allowing multiple points in an oven or process to be monitored during a single run. The logger supports J, K, T, E, R, S, B and N thermocouple types with automatic thermocouple linearization and automatic cold junction compensation based on the internal channel. Type K thermocouples are included. Software and Data Analysis MadgeTech software allows recorded data to be downloaded to a computer and viewed in degrees Celsius, degrees Fahrenheit, Kelvin or Rankine. Data can be displayed in graph or tabular form, zoomed for closer inspection and exported to Excel for additional analysis. Software features include multiple graph overlay, statistics, min/max/average lines, digital calibration, summary view and calculations such as Mean Kinetic Temperature. The ThermoVaultX offers programmable start options including push button start, immediate software start and delayed start up to six months in advance. Readings are date and time stamped, and the logger provides 524,032 readings per channel on the 4-channel model or 262,016 readings per channel on the 8-channel model with all channels enabled. Disclaimer & Terms of Use Listed specifications can be used to determine maximum allowable exposure times for the TCTempX with ThermoVaultX. The barrier extends the operating temperature of the logger up to 350 °C (662 °F). Both the data logger and ThermoVaultX must be at ambient temperature, approximately 25°C (77°F) before being placed in the extreme temperature environment. Immediately following exposure to high temperature, the data logger should be removed from the ThermoVaultX, using appropriate precautions, as it could be VERY hot. Failing to remove the data logger may allow heat trapped in the ThermoVaultX to continue to heat the data logger to potentially unsafe levels. The ThermoVaultX may take hours to fully cool down. Even if the exterior of the ThermoVaultX is cool to the touch, the interior of the barrier and its contents may still be VERY hot. Allow the entire system to cool down to approximatel 25 °C (77 °F) before successive cycle.
