Levi's "Big E" 557 1960s Denim Jacket - Size 40

The first of a legend. In 1962 Levis introduced the 557XX, the first of the Type 3, and a replacement for the 507XX. This iteration, dropping the XX in the early/mid 1960s would become an icon, and the basis for the vast majority of denim trucker jackets made since then. This is the OG. Condition Good used condition. Some fading and wear but largely great. The print on the tag is strong. Good strong blue to the denim. A little wear around the collar. Nice two tone stitching with lemon yellow and tan. Size Tagged a 40" Pit to pit 20.5” Shoulder to shoulder 18" Shoulder to cuff 24.5" Collar to hem 22.5”
