String Bag designed by Lucy Malirrmurruwuy Wanapuyngu. Made by Julieanne Gitjpulu Malibirr, Rebecca Gamadala Malibir and Michelle Banalinydu Malibirr. A handmade, limited-edition capsule that celebrates a connection between two worlds: seamlessly blending Helen Kaminski's Sri Lankan artisan's hand-plaited Madagascan raffia braid with Australian native Pandanus leaf and bush string. Harvested by hand and hand-dyed using natural bush dyes and woven by Yolŋu artists from Gapuwiyak and surrounding homelands. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and individually numbered.
