Two roasts in one bag. The citrus lift of our light roast up front, the dark chocolate finish of our darkest roast behind it. Same Colombian beans, opposite ends. The rundown: Origin: Colombia, single origin Roast level: Black and tan, our Lifeline light roast blended with our 15W40 dark Italian roast Tastes like: Bright citrus up front, dark chocolate on the finish Bitter? No, we roast it smooth, never bitter Acidic? No, smooth and easy on the stomach Why this one: For anyone who cannot pick a side. You get the brightness of a light roast without giving up the chocolate weight of a dark one. Brews with: Drip, pour-over, French press, or cold brew Why it's called Operator Error: Every after action review eventually lands on the same finding. The gear worked. The plan worked. Somebody put the wrong thing in the wrong place at the wrong time, and nobody wants that written next to their name. Then once in a while the wrong thing turns out to be the right thing. Light roast and dark roast in the same bag should not work as well as it does. It went in the grinder anyway, and now it has a name and a spot on the shelf.
