SecureData SecureUSB KP 128GB
The SecureData SecureUSB KP is a hardware-encrypted flash drive that unlocks with a PIN typed on the drive itself. Because the keypad is on the device, nothing is typed into the computer — a keylogger on the host machine has nothing to capture. Security Real-time AES-XTS 256-bit full-disk hardware encryption FIPS 140-2 Level 3 Validated, certificate 3528 Wipes all data after 10 consecutive incorrect PIN attempts Separate Admin and User PINs, plus a read-only mode Auto-locks after an idle period you set, from 1 to 60 minutes Wear-resistant keypad, so worn keys do not reveal the PIN Build and speed USB 3.0 / 3.1 Gen 1 / 3.2 Gen 1 Read up to 130 MB/s, write up to 118 MB/s 77–78 x 20 x 10 mm, 12–18 g depending on sleeve IP68 rated with the sleeve fitted 3-year limited warranty Compatibility No software and no drivers. Because unlocking happens on the drive, it works with anything that reads a USB mass storage device — Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, ChromeOS, thin clients, VMware, Citrix and embedded systems. Common questions Do I need to install anything? No. You unlock the drive with its own keypad before plugging it in, and the computer then sees an ordinary USB drive. What if I forget the PIN? After 10 wrong attempts the drive erases its data. There is no recovery and no backdoor — that is the point of the design. Is this the same as a crypto hardware wallet? No. This encrypts files. A hardware wallet holds the private keys to your crypto. Some people keep encrypted backups on a drive like this, but it is not a substitute for a wallet.
