Poul Volther chairs by Free Røjle (Made in Denmark)
A beautiful set of six dining chairs designed by Poul Volther and handcrafted by Fred Røjle in Denmark during the 1960s. The chairs feature elegant teak frames with their original papercord seat pads, retaining the character and authenticity of their period. The teak frames and wooden components have been completely restored by our skilled restorers, carefully preserving the warmth and natural beauty of the original teak. The papercord is original to the chairs and has only been replaced in areas where the cord was broken. As a result, the seats may show some staining and signs of age, consistent with their original vintage condition. For customers who prefer a completely renewed finish, we can have the seats professionally re-corded using new Danish papercord. The quotation for this service is £125 per chair. A charming and authentic set of Danish mid-century dining chairs, retaining the honest character of their original materials and the fine craftsmanship of Poul Volther for Fred Røjle. Dimensions: Width: 45.5 cm Depth: 47 cm Height: 75 cm Seat height: 43cm
