A special edition of The Works of John Milton from the late 19th Century. Published by Gall & Inglis around 1880 (no date). Includes Paradise Lost, Paradise Regained and other works. There is an attractive inset floral illustration on the cover. There is gilt on three-sides of the foredge. The cover corners are crushed with under-board exposed. There is wear, cloth loss and fraying on the upper and lower backstrip. The hinges feel fragile but are intact. There are several small black and white illustrations. 491 pages.
