8 – The Waisted Dress in Pure Merino Flannel Long Skirted Tailored Pure Wool Dress with Three Quarter Length Sleeves THE DOWNING DRESS SIZE 8 The Downing Dress is elegant and easy to wear. While it stands on its own beautifully, it is cleverly designed to sit perfectly under our Downing coats. It is designed to fall to mid-low calf length, just shy of the coat length, and has a waisted, skirted shape. It is fully lined in silk. The sleeves reach a few inches below the elbow and have a slitted fold back cuff detail. Darted pleats to front and rear created a superbly flattering shape that is at once elegant and easy to wear. The Fabric This is a fine pure merino flannel – superbly soft and elegant. Boasting all the benefits of Merino, it is breathable and heat regulating. Woven in Yorkshire.
