8-Color Melanie's Fave Starter Palette

This special palette is our CfM workshop coordinator, Melanie Lan's, go-to starter palette. It contains some blends and some of our core colors to make a unique collection great for playful exploration of our handmade watercolor collection. There are also 2 versions each of reds, yellows and blues, which means you can color mix to your heart's content! This palette is also available in a Watercolor Workshop Bundle, which contains everything you need to get started painting in one of our online or in person workshops! Come paint with us! TOP ROW French Vermilion, CfM Hot Pink, CfM Coral, CfM Oxalis BOTTOM ROW Fluorescent Yellow 2, CfM Olive, Synthetic Indigo, CfM Shadow Blue All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness! Some of our premade sets and custom blends contain colors which are not lightfast. Fading can be reduced by coating finished pieces in a UV protective varnish and/or keeping them out of direct sunlight. You can view a list of non-lightfast colors here.
