Camera Roll to Sticker Sheet: The Christmas Photo Sticker Kit
You've seen them in the groups. Grandkids sitting inside pumpkins. A friend riding a real dinosaur. A whole office turned into little watercolour portraits. A hundred and fifty likes, forty comments, and half the comments say the same thing: how did you do that?So you try it. You give an app a photo of your grandson and ask for a watercolour, and what comes back is a lovely painting of a little boy who isn't him. Different nose. Different smile. Somebody else's child. That's the bit nobody explains. Making a photo look painted is easy. Making it look painted and still look like them is the whole skill. That's what this kit teaches, one copy-and-paste recipe at a time.Get the kitInstant download. Read it on your phone or print it. Works with StickerPix and Print Then Cut.Try one recipe free, right nowHere's the Watercolour recipe from the kit, in full. Use it tonight and see if it works for you.1. Pick the right photo. Face well lit, looking roughly at the camera, and filling a good part of the picture. Use the original photo from your phone, not one saved from Facebook or sent over a text message, because those get shrunk and the app has to guess the detail.2. Open ChatGPT or Google Gemini on your phone (the free versions both work, with a daily limit on how many you can make). Attach the photo and paste this:Turn this photo into a soft watercolour painting for a sticker. Keep their face exactly as it is in the photo: same eyes, nose, mouth, smile, hair and skin tone, so anyone who knows them would recognise them straight away. Loose watercolour washes, soft edges, a little paper texture, gentle warm colours. Show them from the shoulders up, centred, on a plain white background with nothing behind them. No text and no border.3. If the face has drifted, don't ask it to try again. Reply with this instead:The face doesn't look like them any more. Go back to my original photo and keep the face exactly the same. Only change the painting style.4. Save the picture and drop it into our free Sticker Sheet Planner. It adds the white sticker border and a name, checks it's sharp enough, and lays out the sheet for StickerPix or Print Then Cut.That's one of eight. The others are harder to get right, especially Snow Globe and Christmas Elf, where the app wants to change the face to fit the scene. Each recipe in the kit comes with its own fixes for exactly that. Why your sticker stopped looking like themThree things cause almost every "that's not her" result. Worth knowing even if you never buy anything:The face was too small in the photo. If the face is a tiny part of the picture, the app invents the detail it can't see. Crop in close before you start. You asked for too much at once. A new style, a new background and a Santa hat in one go is three changes, and the face is usually what gives. Change one thing per step. You kept pressing try again. Every retry drifts a little further from the real person. Always go back to the original photo, never keep editing the edit. One photo.
