Gulmohar Slipper Chair

A cheerful slipper chair in full bloom. The Gulmohar is dressed in a block-print-inspired floral on an ivory linen-look ground, with tall carnation sprays in coral, cornflower blue and soft taupe, each panel placed so the motif sits centred on the back and seat. Every edge is outlined in a contrast rust-orange piping that sharpens the silhouette and picks up the warmth of the print. Armless and slim, with a loose seat cushion and a gently raked back, it stands on ivory-painted turned front legs and splayed back legs, all finished with antique brass castors. Ideal at a dressing table, at the foot of a bed or in a sunny corner of a living room.
