José grew up in a coffee-growing family and in recent years he has taken care of cupping, quality control and coffee sales. Today he runs his own plots with a clear idea: to bring out the fullest expression of a very special place. Putushio is the mountain that gives the farm its name a wild and almost untouched territory at more than 2,000 metres above sea level. It is much more than an agricultural project: it is a research station and an experimental laboratory, where growing coffee is a way of connecting with nature. About the process: This is a classic washed process: the coffee is depulped on the day of harvest, washed with spring water and slowly dried on raised beds. The result is a clean, bright and very aromatic cup.
