Heavy-Duty Signal Lights / Beacons The WL-SH2S Beacons are Ideal for vessels, marine environments, and heavy industry applications. These fully enclosed signal lights/beacons deliver superior durability, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance. The aluminum housing combined with a polycarbonate lens provides excellent performance under harsh conditions. The lights are IP66 rated WL-SH2S Powerful xenon lamp strobe for strong visual signaling, especially effective in bright conditions or for longer-distance visibility. Flashing rate: 60–80 flashes per minute. Convenient connector-type lamp for easy replacement. Corrosion-Resistant Housing Materials: The WL-SH2S series signal lights are built for demanding marine and heavy-industry environments where exposure to saltwater, humidity, chemicals, and harsh weather is common. Corrosion resistance is achieved through a combination of material and specialized surface treatment. This aluminum body undergoes a special anodization surface treatment process. Anodizing creates a hard, protective oxide layer on the aluminum that significantly improves corrosion resistance, helping the housing withstand moisture, salt spray, and industrial atmospheres while maintaining structural strength. Protective Cage The WL-SH2-CAGE can be added to shield the polycarbonate lens from physical damage caused by external contact, impact, or accidental bumps. The cage is made from STS316L stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant for reliable long-term performance. These come with a 1/2 NPT cable entry port. Cable Glands are not provided with the lights. 3/4 NPT port entry can be special ordered.
