Bison are massive animals capable of great speeds and immense power. Andres Lementino's turquoise-eyed bison represents strength in repose, that state of quiet, grounded confidence. Sculpted from luxurious champagne alabaster exuding organic warmth and muted undertones, the sgraffito-etched buffalo is masterfully adorned with two stone to stone inlays from colorful turquoise, jet, apple coral, lapis, iridescent mother-of-pearl, watery abalone and gold lip shell that reflect Andres' exceptional talents. The designs include the Sunface symbol which represents the elements in balance, as well as a stunning Bear track. Including the base carved from the same piece of gypsum, dimensions in their entirety are approximately 6 3/4" long, 2 1/4" wide and 4" tall.
