Lavender - French

French Lavender is a herb garden must-have. More flamboyant but not as tough as its English cousin, it’s renowned for delightful flower heads topped with conspicuous “bunny ears” or bracts. It needs more pampering than hardy English lavender – especially in cold winters and in very wet conditions, both of which it won’t tolerate at all - c'est la vie. However, give it plenty of sunshine and good drainage and c'est magnifique!
