Mother & Calf — Humpback Whale Sculpture

A mother humpback whale with her baby balancing above her nose. A little moment of connection between mother and calf, captured in clay. Hand-built using black clay, with a black and grey marbled belly that gives each whale its own natural markings. This one-of-a-kind sculpture was created to raise money for Project Jonah, supporting marine mammal welfare in New Zealand.
