Vintage Mid-Century Sterling Silver Bridge Pencils

A wonderful vintage cased set of four sterling silver Bridge scoring pencils - the ultimate gift for any card game enthusiast or writing enthusiast. Dating dating from the mid-20th century, these elegant propelling pencils are traditionally used to tally scores during a game of Bridge. Each individual pencil features a beautifully textured, diamond-patterned engine-turned barrel. They are topped with rectangular finials engraved with the four classic card suits in colored enamel: Hearts, Diamonds, Spades, and Clubs. Each pencil measures 3 3/8" long and marked "sterling silver" on the collar, with enamel in wonderful condition. Each pencil weighs about 6.26g to 6.56g, with a combined weight of approximately 25.68g. All are fully operational with twist-action propelling pins.
