Aquamarine Bracelet – 6mm Polished Round Beads With its delicate watery colour, Aquamarine can range from almost colourless icy blue through soft blue-green tones. These bracelets show that natural variation beautifully, with some beads appearing clearer and more transparent while others contain cloudy areas, internal veils and natural inclusions. Aquamarine is the blue to blue-green variety of the mineral beryl, belonging to the same mineral family as Emerald, Morganite and Heliodor. Its colour is primarily associated with iron within the crystal structure. Although highly transparent Aquamarine is particularly prized for faceted gemstones, the natural variation seen in polished beads has a character of its own. Differences in clarity, colour and inclusions mean that no two beads — or bracelets — are exactly alike. Each bracelet is made with approximately 6mm polished round Aquamarine beads threaded onto stretchy elastic and measures approximately 6½ inches. We currently have six bracelets available, and the bracelets shown in our photographs are the actual batch set aside for our online customers. The shade of blue, clarity and natural inclusions will vary between the individual bracelets. Traditional associations Aquamarine has a long association with the sea and was historically regarded as a stone connected with sailors and safe passage. Within modern crystal traditions it is also associated with calm and communication. These are historical and metaphysical associations rather than scientifically established properties.
