The Roussillon (France) region’s success in the production of rosé wine comes mainly from the Mediterranean climate with maritime and mountain influences. However, although their rosé is very fashionable, Languedoc-Roussillon is a rich and diverse wine region that produces a wide variety of wines, from robust reds to fresh whites, rosé, sweet, fortified and sparkling wines.
