The Ichiro's Malt Chichibu London Edition 2025 is the eighth release in Chichibu Distillery's highly collectible London-exclusive series, created specifically for the UK market and released in conjunction with London's Whisky Show. Limited to just 1,920 bottles worldwide, the 2025 edition is a vatting of 10 carefully selected Chichibu single malt casks, combining ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry maturation with two casks of heavily peated spirit. Bottled at 50.5% ABV, this year's release brings together Chichibu's signature bright fruit and rich oak character with deeper sherry influence and a subtle layer of integrated peat smoke. Tasting Notes Nose: Mandarin orange and fresh ginger lead into creamy vanilla custard, sweet oak and a subtle thread of peat smoke. Palate: Candied citrus peel develops alongside dark chocolate, brown sugar and dried fruits, with warming spice and gentle smoke adding depth. Finish: Long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, toasted oak, baking spices and restrained peat smoke.
