Every Simply Southern Gorilla Tracking Bracelet includes access to your very own gorilla to track. Your bracelet includes a card with a QR code to scan. This takes you to the app, where you will learn your gorilla's name, age, and picture, and access its GPS tracking. On the gorilla's tracking page, you can follow their incredible journey on an interactive tracking map. Gorillas are tagged with GPS tracking devices, and this special opportunity is provided by the African Wildlife Foundation. At times, the GPS tracker on your lion may show “no activity since ——.” This may be due to a few technical reasons—the GPS antenna may be damaged, debris may have grown over the sensors that tell the transmitter to send signals, or the batteries that power the transmitter may no longer work.
