Versa Rail Model 60 – Attic Ladder Safety Railing

Versa Rail Model 60 Attic Ladder Safety Railing: A Solid Handhold at the Top of Your Attic Ladder The hardest part of using a folding attic ladder is the last step. The top rung can sit as much as 18" below the attic floor, and there's usually nothing to hold onto as you climb into the attic or swing back onto the ladder. The Versa Rail Model 60 is a powder-coated steel railing that mounts to the attic floor around your ladder opening. It gives you a sturdy grab rail for getting in and out, and a barrier that keeps you from stepping into the opening while you work in the attic. Features: Grab Rail for Safe Entry and Exit: A 36" high rail gives you something solid to hold as you step between the ladder and the attic floor, in both directions. Barrier Around the Opening: Surrounds the attic ladder opening, reducing the risk of a fall through the opening while you move boxes and work in the attic. Adjustable Fit: Width adjusts from 22½" to 32½" and length from 54" to 60" in 2½" increments to fit most attic ladder openings. Steel Construction: Powder-coated steel tubing for a durable, corrosion-resistant finish. Secure Floor Mounting: Floor brackets lag-screw into the attic floor joists, and stabilizer brackets on the front legs add rigidity. DIY Installation: The manufacturer rates installation as handyman level. All hardware is included; you supply wrenches and a drill. Made by Versa Lift: Built by Byers Products Group, the manufacturer of the Versa Lift attic storage lift. 5-Year Manufacturer Warranty: Covered by Byers Products Group's limited 5-year warranty once registered. 30-Day Returns: See the Returns section for details.
