Helen's Hill 2025 'Long Walk' Pinot Noir

The warm, dry conditions of the 2025 vintage brought Pinot Noir to maturity earlier than usual, producing fruit with excellent concentration, fragrance and naturally ripe tannins. Careful picking during the compressed harvest helped preserve the freshness and detail that define Yarra Valley Pinot Noir. A blend of 40% MV6, 35% Pommard and 25% Abel clones, the 2025 Long Walk opens with lifted aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and red cherry, complemented by clove and fine savoury spice. The medium-bodied palate delivers layers of cranberry, red cherry, dried herbs and subtle forest-floor complexity. Fine, polished tannins provide structure, while bright acidity carries the wine through to a long, focused finish. Expressive and approachable now, the 2025 Long Walk has the structure to reward careful cellaring over the next six to eight years. Pair with roast duck, mushroom risotto or grilled salmon.
