MAISON CREST T-SHIRT

A crest built entirely from thread. Only the Blind in a tall Victorian serif across the back, each letter filled with directional stitch so the strokes catch light at different angles, framed above and below by scrolling foliage with the OTB monogram set into the ornament at both ends. London, England, est 2016 sits at the centre beside a rose worked in dark green, almost lost against the ground until the light moves. Three thread tones throughout - cream, stone and green - building shadow under every curl so the whole thing reads as carved rather than applied. At the chest, the monogram again, letterforms growing out of foliage. Cut in a washed green with a soft, broken-in hand feel. Boxy body, ribbed crew neck, straight hem. Embroidered throughout.
