Tiger Milk Mushroom Sliced Lignosus rhinocerus sclerotia Our Tiger Milk Mushroom is made from 100% Lignosus rhinocerus sclerotia that we grow, harvest, slice, and dry ourselves in the United States. Prime Fungi is the first and currently the only producer of Lignosus rhinocerus in the United States. This exceptionally rare species has never before been commercially cultivated in the United States. We focus on producing the highest quality Tiger Milk Mushroom possible and believe you will not find a higher quality Tiger Milk Mushroom in the United States. Lignosus rhinocerus develops a dense underground sclerotium rather than a conventional mushroom cap and stem. The sclerotia develop slowly and can take more than a year to fully mature. We cultivate them from our own isolated culture and allow them to fully develop before harvesting. Once mature, the sclerotia are carefully sliced to approximately 1/4 inch, or 5 mm, thick before being dried at low heat. Nothing is imported, blended, or added. The only ingredient is Lignosus rhinocerus sclerotia. No fillers, additives, other mushroom species, or plant material are included. We handle the entire process ourselves, from our original culture through cultivation, harvesting, slicing, drying, and packaging. Keep sealed between uses and store in a cool, dry place.
