Connelly C1 Slalom Ski (2027)

Connelly C1 Slalom Ski After thorough athlete testing and years of refinement, the C1 has arrived. It boasts a wider tip and tunnel, modified sidewall heights, and cutting-edge flex and rocker designs. Incorporating advanced technologies such as V-Tech and Versatail, the C1 continues Connelly’s 58-year tradition of quality. Expertly handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest, it is built for top-tier performance. VERSATAIL While considerable masterminding is put into the overall construction of a high-end slalom ski — the sidecut, rocker, bevels, etc — many people don’t realize how large a part the last few inches of the tail play. A change in tail geometry can mean the difference in a ski performing in perfect rhythm with your personal style. Connelly's patent pending VersaTail technology offers the ability to fine tune the flow of water off the tail of the ski, taking a step beyond the standard fin and binding position adjustments. Skiers can choose from one of three tails, which are all included with the DV8. STOCK VT - Designed to offer a balanced tail depth through the turn and across the wake. SQUARE VS - A square tail shape that adds lift, support and provides a clean release off the wake. ROUND VR - The round tail lets the ski sit deeper in the waterinto the turn, addingcontrol at higher speedsfor quicker turns and reduced taill blowout. ROUND TO SQUARE VRS - Allows the ski to ride deeper in the water on left turns and provides more tip pressure on the right hand turns. This may benefit the skier on their onside and/or offside turns depending on their strength and style. SQUARE TO ROUND VSR - Allows the ski to ride deeper in the water on right turns and provides more tip pressure on the left hand turns. This may benefit the skier on their onside and/or offside turns depending on their strength and style. Available Sizes: 65", 66", 67", 68"
