Altered Surfaces with Andrew Clark
Details In this one-day workshop, artist-instructor Andrew Clark will demonstrate the techniques he uses to create dynamic surfaces on functional pottery. Through demonstrations of four distinct cup forms, Andrew will explore how stamping, press molds, faceting, and other alteration techniques can transform simple forms through texture, pattern, and dimension. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with these techniques on their own leather-hard pieces, with Andrew providing individualized guidance throughout the workshop.
