Prairie Daydream, 8"

COLLECTION: FIELD NOTES (2026) Every fall, I release Field Notes, a collection of smaller original works inspired by the past year. This year’s collection includes paintings and drawings inspired by Alberta and Newfoundland: prairies, trees, ocean, colourful skies and a few of the places I found myself wanting to paint. I love working small because it gives me a chance to try things, play with new materials and make work without overthinking it. Some of these ideas may eventually make their way into larger paintings, and some are just little snapshots of a place or moment I wanted to remember.
