The RP2040 Advanced Breakout Board 5.6E V2 - USB Passthrough Edition Bare Board is a printed circuit board specifically designed for arcade sticks and fight sticks. Its dimensions are based on the Akishop-Customs PS360+ and Brooks PCBs, ensuring compatibility with most arcade sticks. This board houses the same chip as the Raspberry Pi Pico but provides access to all GPIO pins, allowing for versatile connections within your joystick controller. The V2 (Version 2) has a few changes compared to the first 5.6E Version: Changed the 10k resistor on the RGB data line to a 330Ω one for compatibility with the Qanba. Added a redundant 3v3 trace on the bottom side of the board. The PCB features a USB Passthrough for PS4/PS5/Xbox One authentication when using devices like the Mayflash Magicboots PS4 V1.1 dongle. The open-source software offers a wide range of features, including various input modes such as XInput, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 (no dongle needed for authentification) and Keyboard. It boasts an overclocked polling rate for minimal input latency, multiple SOCD cleaning modes, stick emulation via D-pad inputs, LED support, and more. The board is fully functional but does not come with any through hole components (terminal blocks, JST connectors et.c) so if you are not good at soldering then we recommend this board instead. It has an ENIG surface finish for enhanced quality. You can find more information and updates on the GP2040-CE project's GitHub page.
