Tom the Lagotto Romagnolo The Lagotto Romagnolo is a breed of dog from Northern Italy known for its excellent sense of smell, which makes them the perfect dogs for sniffing out truffles! Truffles are fungi that grow underground near tree roots. Tom was the first Lagotto Romagnolo to come to Blackberry Farm to see if he could smell truffles growing in East Tennessee. Logotti Romagnoli are cheerful dogs with great personalities. They love to play and are wonderful companions.
