Introducing Wunnamurra Wild One of our absolute favourites on the Gibb River Road, Wunnamurra Gorge on Mount Elizabeth Station was an adventure from the very beginning! A 1 hr 4x4 drive to get here then the hike turned into an 8km adventure after we took a wrong turn and had to put the drone up to help find the track again. But it was more than worth the extra kilometres. We spent hours exploring this incredible gorge — swimming beneath the waterfall, discovering hidden caves and Aboriginal rock art, and exploring behind the falls. It felt like there was something new to discover around every corner. Wunnamurra Gorge captures everything we love about the Kimberley — rugged, remote and full of adventure.
