Large Native American Plains Sioux Doll

This is a large Plains, Sioux, beaded doll with a beaded, hide dress, petticoats, cloth and much regalia. Her face is beaded with black and white glass beads. She has a head of human hair braided on each side wrapped on the ends with rabbit fur. The yolk of the dress is beaded front and back with green, baby blue, greasy yellow, dark blue and translucent red. The dress has small areas of square beading throughout with hide drops coming out of each set. The bottom of the dress is trimmed with opaque green, dark blue and greasy yellow beads. The dress is cinched with a Plains drop belt with tin or steel conchos. Her feet are wearing moccasins fully beaded in rainbow colors, with beading continuing up her leggings. Under the hide dress she wears petticoats made out of fine, cotton cloth. She comes with the stand.
