FAQ Is this the same as a mermaid dog life jacket? Yes. The shiny scale panel and fin give it a mermaid look, combined with a camo print on the body. How should it fit? Snug but not tight. You should fit two fingers under each strap, and the jacket should not slide forward over the head when you lift the handle. How long does shipping take? See our Shipping Policy for delivery times and tracking. A dog life jacket is a swimming aid, not certified safety equipment. Always stay with your dog in and around water, check the fit and buckles before every swim, and let your dog get used to the jacket in shallow water first.
