Yokai Series: Kyubi Trials

Yokai is a premium whiskey experience from Mugen Spirit curated by co-founder Kojin Tashiro, weaving Japanese mythology and lore into carefully selected bourbon barrels. Yokai are a lineage of mythological creatures, tricksters, and warriors. Each expression depicts a different Yokai. After Tamamo burned clean at the lantern marsh, after her tails thinned to light and hunger fell silent, something remained. In the years that followed, in the places where prayers were forgotten, a shadow. gathered itself. The tails returned not as light, but as flame. One, then three, then seven, lashing behind a body no longer white but burning. On the ninth night of the winter, a monk climbed the hill above the marsh and found a fox seated beneath the torii. Nine tails fanned behind it. Nine eyes seemed to watch from within each flicker of flame. This was no celestial guide, but will sharpened into hunger. The Kyūbi does not trick for amusement. It reshapes kingdoms. It whispers into rulers' ears. It turns devotion into obsession and love into ruin, not because it must; merely because it can.
