Picture Purrfect Nepeta (Catmint)

Nepeta 'Picture Purrfect' Picture Purrfect Catmint is a compact, long-blooming perennial covered in large, vibrant blue-purple flowers above aromatic green foliage. Compared with many traditional catmint varieties, its flowers are noticeably bluer and begin blooming about two weeks earlier, giving it an early start to its impressive season of color. Staying just 10–12 inches tall while spreading nearly 2 feet wide, Picture Purrfect forms a low, broad mound that is perfect for the front of perennial borders. Its easy-care nature also makes it an excellent choice for mass plantings, pathways, groundcover-style plantings, and containers. Pollinators love the abundant flowers, while deer and rabbits generally leave the aromatic foliage alone.
